We want to get it published someday, hopefully after the first volume is finished.
Right now we need a hosting site.

Tbh, I'm really not that worried about anyone ralizing what's going to happen with Corelle - I'm not hiding it. I do hope that people are nicely distracted. :)

And here I am at the end of what you have. Probably going to leave SE alone for several months now because I find it so much more satisfying to read many pages at once compared to one at a time. Thanks for sticking with this and continuing to work on it! I admire consistency - or at least continuous effort - with story creation. :)

So ironic how she was going to Polaris for a job, but is on her way to become a client...

Yeah, that's going to be nasty. At least now her hands are covered for the sake of the weak-stomached readers among us.

You will soon!

Yeah, I can imagine that tangled dreads are more obnoxious than other hair styles.

Oh yah, those hands are done for. How long was she working at the factory at the start? Seems like some rapid deterioration in just a couple days.

She had been there for a couple months before catching the necrosis.

The deterioration speed is pretty accurate. According to Wiki and the medical articles I read, this bacteria as nasty fast-moving. They suggest that all those infected get to a hospital 24-36 hours after contracting it (that is, if you suspect that's what you have) before any real damage is done. After that they have to start cutting.

Here's a good intro: www.webmd.com/skin-problems-an…

Thank you for the info. To be honest, though I knew flesh-eating bacteria exist, I thought you had made up this particular kind. That just adds a whole new dimension of unnerving to the story.

You're welcome!!
Every time I bring up a real-world disease, I try to make it as realistic as possible. I also study the psychological effects that having these illnesses can cause.

There's only one made-up illness in SE (Brymer's disease from the prologue - it comes up a lot later) and I tried to make it something that COULD exist in real life. I'm sure the medical buffs will get on my ass about how it's impossible, but that's okay.
